We offer comprehensive accounting, taxation and accounting solutions. John BrierleyPrincipal

John is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). He has over 40 years of experience of providing comprehensive accounting, taxation and financial advice to a wide range of clients. From vision to success, success needs support.

John blends his wealth of experience so as to offer the best possible service. He gets what matters and is there for you at every step in your journey to success.

Kathy SnellSenior Accountant

Kathy is a Chartered Accountant holding a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree. She has over 23 years experience in public practice, working with Family Businesses, Medical Practitioners and Self Managed Superannuation Funds, assisting with their taxation obligations, business structuring and tax planning.

She started working with John at Brierley and Co in February 2016 where her main focus has been on managing our Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Kathy’s approach is very hands on and she really enjoys developing long term relationships with her clients.

She has two very active boys, enjoys playing Tennis, Netball and Basketball, and also loves to read.

Bev SuitorAccounting Assistant

Bev trained as an Accounting Technician in the North of England and migrated to New Zealand where she worked in a large accounting firm for four years. She then moved to Melbourne in 2009 (and has no plans to migrate anywhere else) where she has worked along side John at Brierley and Co as an Accounting Assistant. In total she has over 30 years experience in the Accounting industry.

Bev has two grown up children and her interests include working out at the Gym, Walks with her gorgeous Labradoodle Alf, and socialising with friends on the weekends.

Catherine TaylorAdministration

Catherine began her career in the hospitality and tourism industry before completing a traineeship in Business Administration in 2000 while working for a Real Estate Agent in the city.

Catherine has over 17 years experience in Office Administration with 14 years of those in the accounting industry working in large and small accounting firms.

When not working, Catherine is spending time with her beautiful young family and cooking up a storm in her kitchen.

Michelle DevilleAdministration

Michelle is our newest member to Your Accounting Team. With 20 years experience in the customer service industry and 17 years experience in administration she can’t wait to take your call.

Michelle has an advanced Diploma in Business Marketing and various Certificates in Beauty Therapy.

She is a busy basketball Mum of two young children. She loves the theatre and shopping for clothes, shoes and homewares (ANYTHING REALLY!!!!) and loves trying out new restaurants and listening to live music.
